of only 2 AAA teams to qualify 7 consecutive years for the WPIAL playoffs. The Colt players give 100% each
week and are proud to carry on the Colt tradition of exciting high school football.

  • Know the signs of Dehydration - drink fluids
    frequently during the day: water, sports drinks,
    100% fruit juice & milk
  • Do not skip meals - intake should be 1/3 protein,
    2/3 carbohydrates & small amount of fat at each
    meal
  • Avoid high fat, fried & unhealthy foods
  • Eat a healthy snack within the first 30 minutes
    after exercise - options include bagels, fruit,
    peanut butter, rice cakes, granola, sports bars,
    yogurt, pretzels, trail mix, breakfast bars, etc.
